Rocky Mountain Outfit — American Mountain Men (AMM) party of Colorado
August 27 - 28, 2011: A camp was called near the source of Rock Creek near Gore Pass in Middle Park. Brad Bailey, Steve Chin, Darko, Cliff Clary, and Bill Armstrong were present. Unfortunately there was little water to be found in the meadow, except for some seeps. As true mountaineers we made do with what we had. The area had an abundance of berries though, both strawberries and grouseberries. In addition to the berries we had buffalo tongue and all other sorts of game meat. Brad did multiple colleges on Indian sign language and primitive traps using snares and deadfalls. There were a couple of afternoon storms, but all in all it was a good camp.
